Haircuts
Let me snip your strands into shape!
At Yankee Sweetheart we believe that everyone should leave with a fabulous cut and an amazing style! You'll start with a full consultation so we can sort out just what you are after, followed by a shampoo and conditioning treatment made just for your hair with the essential oils who's fragrance you like best. Each haircut includes a blow wave so you leave looking the very best version of you! Allow roughly 90 minutes as this service is meant to be a relaxing respite from the daily grind and we like to leave time to get to know you and your hair.
When it's time for a totally new look then look no further! We'll work to find just the right new style to suit you hair type and lifestyle and make you feel like a whole new you! Allow a little extra time if you're getting an overhaul!
You'll enjoy the same pampered experience as a cut with a little extra time and attention taken to curl or straighten your locks to perfection. Allow 2 hours for this pamper session.
If you're a vintage lover who's tresses are in need of a trim then this is the package for you! We'll whip your hair into shape and then style it up into the retro vision of your dreams! Allow 3-4 hours depending on the type of vintage style you are after!
If you just need to pop past for a quick fringe trim it'll hardly put a dent in your wallet! If you're a regular customer in need up a tidy up between full cuts and it's been less than 3 weeks since your last appoinment your trim will be on the house!
If you've got hair halfway down your back (impressive!) or a ponytail of emense proportions (lucky!) it'll cost you a tad more for your service and you can plan to add and extra 20min onto you service time. But don't worry there is heaps of non-time restricted parking just a hop, skip and a jump away!
Makeup
Smokey Eyes for big nights on the town, a pinup perfect pucker or photo ready bridal makeup are all available at Yankee Sweetheart.
If you're after a dewy fresh glow for your wedding day, a plumped up pucker to complete your pinup style or something glam for a big night on the town then come on into Yankee Sweetheart and get your glam on! Yankee Sweetheart uses long wear smudge and water resistant cruelty free cosmetics but you can always bring in your own if you have an allergy, a special lipstick shade or a foundaton you really love and I'll happily incorperate your own makeup into your beautification! Allow 45 min to get fully glam!
If you would like to wear false lashes to make your eyes pop for a special occasion or as part of a vintage makeover I charge $10 to apply individual lashes which some people prefer as they often feel and look more natural. If you would like strip lashes applied please bring your own with you as we find as there are so many lengths and thicknesses it's best you pick the ones you like best. There is no charge to apply lashes if you bring your own in.

Hair Styling
Whether you're after pinup perfection a bouncy blow wave, sleek smooth flat-ironed style, a pincurl set to go home and style yourself or a glamorous updo for a special event look no further!
If you're not in need of a trim but just want an amazing blow wave to make you feel fab then make your appointment today! You'll have a relaxing shampoo and a beautiful finish to get you ready for a night on the town or just as a special treat! Allow 40 min so you can still get a good pamper in without feeling rushed to get to wherever you're off to next.
Same as above but allow an additional 20min to finish your hair with a curl or straighten as strikes your fancy!
If you've got a date on tomorrow or perhaps a wedding or event but haven't got the time to get in on the day and you still want to look glam or if you're a pinup without the patience to pop in your own pincurls but are happy to do the brush out and style on your own then you're in luck! You'll get a nice shampoo and then we'll get your hair all set up in curls for you to sleep on and brush out tomorrow. I recommend you bring a silk, cotton or chiffon scarf or a mesh one to help let the hair breathe so it'll dry in time to cover your tendrils to keep them from getting frizzy on the way home. Allow 45 min.
You'll get the same wet set as a take home session but you'll also spend an hour or so under the dryer setting your curls and I'll brush them out for you and style into a perfect pinup finish. Allow 3 hours for this service.
Whether you're a bride, have a dance to attend, an anniversary, birthday or you're just a glamourpuss who loves to be dolled up to a 10 on a day to day basis, I'll happily primp you into perfection! This might be a pincurls set and brush out, a hair-up, chignon, or bouffant or whatever else strikes your fancy! I specialise in wedding and vintage hair from every era whether you want victory rolls, pincurls, fingerwaves or even an edwardian style or beehive for a party or photoshoot, I'm your gal! If you want a style and I don't already know how to do it, I'll learn it just for you! Depending on the style you are after and your hair allow 45-90 minutes.
